Why Not Celebrate Love?
Why not celebrate love? My parents have known each other for 15 years and have been married for 10 years. They gone through everything possible except for divorce. All their hardships, lovey dovey moments, climax moments, sheer joy moments, every moment imaginable has been shared between them. I love the story about their getting together. They met on a radio show because they were set up by my Mom's girl friend and my Dad's guy friend. Their friends were dating and got them on the radio show to talk and decide to meet each other some day. Time passed and they didn't talk or get together until my Mom's friend insisted on it. So then they started talking on the phone a while until he decided to go and meet my Mother all the way from south chicago to the suburb Lake Forest. After that they kept on seeing each other as friends then as a couple and finally after moving in together on March 1st, 1996 and having me on January 17th, 1997 they got married on March 7th, 2001. They then had my sister on April 6th, 2002. And so today my family and I are celebrating my Mom and Dad's 10th Anniversary and all of their shared history. I ask how they do it? To maintain their love and interest for each other. But their both interesting people you'll never get bored of them. I'm happy for them and I know how fortunate I am to have them happy and together. Wish Them and Us Luck.
